New Ideas for a Holiday Tradition
It’s another “Melrose Moment.” Watch as our special projects designer, Ken Fetgatter, AIFD, shows you a variety of ways to display nutcrackers this holiday season.
One of the nicest things about the nutcracker is that he never goes out of style — he is always a simple and popular way to add tradition and class to your holiday décor.
Originating in Germany, nutcrackers are a wonderful way to evoke holiday memories, and with the variety of Melrose’s 2012 collections, you are sure to find a color or style that will fit your decorating needs this season. We are excited to offer the traditional Nutcracker in different styles and colors, as well as the festive Snowman Nutcracker and the fun and unique Nutcracker Chef.
And since we feel that our handcrafted nutcracker is such a classic holiday decoration, we are offering advice on some different and eye-catching ways to display him. It can be something as simple as adding some stems and ribbon to our traditional Nutcracker for the perfect mantel decoration, or creating a charming winter wonderland with our Snowman Nutcracker, a wreath, some white glitter stems and a silver ribbon.
Whether you like white or want to add some color to your decorations, you can’t go wrong with our nutcrackers. To learn how to spruce up your holiday décor with nutcrackers, watch our special projects designer Ken on this video from MelTV and download step-by-step instructions here.
